2nd Scientific Symposium “Egodocuments, Life-writing and Autobiographical Texts..."
The 2nd Scientific Symposium "Egodocuments, Life-writing and Autobiographical Texts. Cultural Otherness and Estrangement in the Egodocumental Perspective Through the Ages" co-organized by Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun and the University of Lodz. During the conference, we had the opportunity to listen to 32 papers prepared by scientists from all over Europe, representing such scientific fields as history, archivistics, musicology, linguistics, and psychology. Posters prepared by Faculty of History NCU students were also presented during the symposium.
We want to thank all the conference participants for their papers, which presented a very high scientific level and extremely interesting voices in the discussion. We hope we will have the opportunity to meet and discuss at future conference editions. We would also especially like to thank our keynote speakers, Prof. Arianne Baggerman from the University of Amsterdam and Prof. Stanislaw Roszak from UMK, who presented problems that prompted deep methodological reflection on egodocuments.
