International Egodocumental Network Seminar - 21st November 2024

We invite you to the next International Egodocumental Network Seminar, which will take place on Thursday, 21 November 2024, at 17.30 (Warsaw time).

Our speaker will be Dr. Tsila Rädecker, with her paper: "The Lived Experience of Policing: Dina Sanson's Unique Perspective as the Netherlands First Policewoman."

Tsila Rädecker is an independent scholar, who having received her PhD from the University of Groningen, specialises in early modern and modern Jewish history. The paper will discuss egodocumental aspects of her most recent project, dedicated to the biography of Dina Sanson, the first policewoman in the Netherlands in the last years of the 19th and the early years of the 20th centuries. In her paper, Dr. Rädecker will focus on the intersection of personal narratives and police paperwork, written by Sanson.
